CAMPGROUND POLICIES

General Rules 

Check-In 2:00PM   

Check-Out 11:00AM

  • Monday–Sunday: Campground Office Check in 2:00 PM-4:00 PM

  • After-hours Check-in from 4:00PM-9:00 PM (Online or Scan QR code)

  • Early Check-in upon request (based on availability and No early check-in during events)​

Campground Office Hours Tuesday - Sunday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM 
           Onsite Office Closed Monday.

   Off Site Check-in available 2:00PM - 9:00PM Online, Scan QR Code or Text 231-349-1203 

 

Campsite Policies

  • Each site may have up to 2 vehicles, RV and one additional tent (depending on size)

  • Overflow parking must be approved- Stop in or contact the office for parking passes. 

  • No dumping grey water or sewage anywhere on Camp High in the Pines property.

  • Please keep your campsite clean and use designated trash bins.

  • Do not leave food, trash, or coolers unattended.

  • ​Generators - Quiet Series 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM (Only allowed on sites without electric)
     

  • Campfires

  • No outside firewood: Firewood available at the camp office during office hours or
    pre-order online. 

  • Fires must stay in designated fire rings

  • Never leave fires unattended

  • No cutting or collecting wood on the property

 

Quiet Hours 11PM - 7AM

  • Be mindful of fellow campers and keep noise levels low during quiet hours.
     


Visitor Policy

  • All visitors must check in at the office and leave no later than 10:00 PM.

  • Max 8 people including visitors per site. 

 


Vehicles and Recreation

  • For everyone’s safety, the campground speed limit is 5 MPH for all vehicles.

  • Do not park on grass, block roads or paths and stay on designated roads.             

  • ORV/UTV may only be driven in and out of camp to reach designated trails.

  • Trailer overflow parking available with office approval.

 

Pet Policy

  • Pets must remain on a 6-foot leash or under & under owners control at all times.

  • Please clean up pet waste immediately and dispose of properly.

  • Pets must not be left unattended or tied up to avoid barking or disturbing neighbors. 

  • No exotic pets or animals with aggressive temperaments

  • No Pets allowed on playground or play areas

  • No Pets Allowed During Special Events​​

Water Usage

  • Water spigots are for filling water containers only. No RV filling allowed. 

  • No washing dishes, clothes, or pets at water pumps.​​

Respect for Nature

  • Leave plants, trees, and natural features undisturbed.

  • No carving, cutting, or altering trees or campground structures.

  • No fish cleaning or disposal of fish remains allowed at Camp High in the Pines.

 

Fireworks & Firearms

  • ALL Fireworks, SparklersFirearms, BB guns, air guns, and slingshots are prohibited.

Alcohol & Recreational Marijuana

  • High in the Pines is a family-friendly environment.​ â€‹â€‹

  • Please consume responsibly. 

 

Refund / No-Show Policy

  • All refunds, date changes, and cancellations must be requested through the office.

  • Policies may vary by season.

  • Damage and Cleaning Fees: A minimum fee of $25 will be charged for damages to landscaping or picnic tables.

 

Liability Notice

By camping with us, guests agree to follow all applicable regulations.

High in the Pines is privately owned. Campers accept privileges with the understanding that the campground, its owners, and staff are not responsible for loss, damage, or injury, and agree to hold the campground harmless for themselves and their guests.
